Fun in Central Vietnam
After an hour of flight time on Vietnam Airlines, I arrived in Da Nang (from Hanoi).
I called for a Grab motorbike and went to my AirBnB. I felt the cool breezy air blowing on my face, rode passed one of the iconic bridges, and I was back in the coastal city I love again. I was greeted by a Vietnamese family of 4, and was offered a jug of water and a mug to enjoy for the night. The house had a small dog and guess what? It's a Japanese Spitz named Soc Soc (which means something like a squirrel). Of course it barked at me. It's not an unusual greeting of a Japanese Spitz. This sassy breed have the instinct of a guard dog.
The spacious room was on the 3rd floor of a newly build house. After introducing myself, adventures and plans for the subsequent day, I too had received information that the owner was a real estate agent. I gave a compliment on the room, which had designs and colours pleasing to the eye. A clean and spacious room- What a delight of a place for a rest and rejuvenating session after the Vietnam Jungle Marathon 25KM event! I took a good shower, did laundry, packed my bag, and rested.
The next day, I gave myself a pampering face massage session before checking out my airBnB to meet with my travel group!

The Sun Wheel is a pretty prominent landmark located in Asia Park. The ride fee is included in the amusement park ticket. It is a great way to enjoy aerial views of the coastal city.
The lions of the lion dance are located in the Singapore section of the park. My mum is particularly fascinated by this park because it featured many dragon figures. She loves dragons. More dragons as you scroll down the page.
The decorations of this tastefully designed room, were Vietnamese and Japanese (Bathroom) inspired. Beautiful oriental style.
Looking on the left side of the picture is a Japanese inspired bath section which feature a shower with a low stool (Japanese style). The main feature of the bathroom was marble bathtub carved out of one piece of marble. Maybe it was sourced from the nearby marble mountains? The iconic marble material were also used for the Riding Dragon Getting Pearls slide in the hot springs park.
Longevity Hot Springs Eggs!
The longevity eggs were cooked in hot springs water. I'd say it's a 3/4 boiled egg. Sprinkled with some salt and pepper and they tasted so yummy!
Riding dragon getting pearls ride is a unique ride made out of marble (slide). A headgear had to be worn as there were sections with sharp turns.
More Dragon decorations!
Explorations after breakfast.
To Hoi An!
That's all folks!
